  • Original/Reproduction: Original
  • All returns accepted: ReturnsNotAccepted
  • Condition: Condition: Good used condition. Collected by a 9-year-old boy who was (and still is) an avid baseball fan. He tacked/pinned them to a bulletin board and loved them so much that when he started working for General Mills Cereal Division, Wheaties Cereal, in the early 1970s, he initiated the College Pennant promotion project for Wheaties. Please see the photos for condition: The pennants have no creases and no obvious soil except for the Boston Red Sox back which has 3 small black spots measuring 1/8" each. The photos show which pennants have obvious pin/tack holes, with the PIttsburg Pirates having a 3/8" tack hole in the top. The felt in some of the pennants is soft and in others it is stiff. The ends of the pennants are pretty flat--see photos.

Note:  My husband, the once-upon-a-time 9-year-old boy who owns these pennants, found a few boxes of his 1940s and 1950s toys, cards, and pennants in the attic recently.  They will be listed in the coming weeks.  Please check out my site if you are interested.
