Antique Ironstone Indian Tree Burgess & Leigh England Wide Rim Soup Bowl 9” Set7. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Ironstone from the late 1800’s is fired earthenware from England. We have seven bowls from the Indian tree line dating back to 1891-1906. They have the rope embossed rim with a dark green color. All are all structurally sound and free from cracks but most have crazing, some light marks or light signs of wear. They’re over 100 years old. One has a chip in the paint on the rim (see photo). If you’re collecting this line or an ironstone collector, these pieces are a welcome addition. Enjoy!
