BLUE CALICO BURLEIGH STAFFORDSHIRE CREAMER and CALICO CUP HANDLELESS.
This is a two item set of a Blue Calico Burleigh Staffordshire English creamerer and a Blue Calico, Made in England handleless cup. These items are in perfect condition with no chips, wear, or fading. I believe these were produced in the 1960's. They are two very collectable and elegant pieces. The blue Calico design is bright and cheery. Each are just under 4”.
Made in the brand's Stoke-on-Trent factory for over 40 years, the unique floral design was derived from early Victorian patterns which had their roots in Chinese porcelain, representing the spring with fallen prunus blossoms onto cracked ice.
