    Description

    Up for your consideration is this rare and stunning antique Burgess & Leigh Burleigh Ware flow blue porcelain pottery bowl accented with gold. The bowl is hand painted with a fish design and a coral lake background. These pieces made in England are stunning and the painter has actully made it look like the fish are swimming. This fine porcelain piece Burleigh Ware measures 11 1/2" in diameter x 3 3/4" tall. The outside of the bowl has a gold luster mercury color to it and a faded  leaf pattern. I see no chips or cracks. I see some crazing from aging over time. There is some gold wear on the edge. The back stamp is reddish brown color and dates the piece between 1906-1912. It has the number 3742.
