Huge, Very Nice! Burleigh Ware Burgess & Leigh Green Rose Rosette pattern Platter from around 1912.  No Chips or Cracks.  A few crazing lines on the back on one side and a few scratches from use that can be seen under high magnification.  Marked Burleigh Ware Burgess & Leigh Middleport Pottery Burslem Semi Porcelain England Reg No. 53????  which places this design around 1909.  Impressed mark reads B & L England. Gold trim is 80%+ intact. Displays very well.  Measures 17 5/8" by 14 3/8" and weighs 4lbs 7 oz. Recently acquired from a shipment of English antiques.  Platter rings nicely when struck.
