Limoges AK Footed Toothpick Holder Egg Cup Tulip Design 1890-1910

Description

This is either an egg cup holder or toothpick holder made by Limoges between 1890-1910. The inside of the cup is a pale yellow while the outside has pink petals over white petals. The white is swirled and matched the foot with a scalloped trim. it. I really had a hard time getting the pictures so I hope you can tell by the description the colors. It stands 2 1/2" in height x about 1 1/2" in diameter. On the bottom are the initials AK which stands for A Klingenberg. After looking into egg cups and toothpick holders I decided it could be either one. If anyone knows how to tell the difference please let me know. It is in beautiful condition with chips.
