Vintage Stanford University felt pennant from 1971 from Stanford's Rose Bowl victory in Pasadena, CA. 1971 was the last year Stanford was known as the Indians as they then became the Cardinals in 1972.
Full Size pennant measuring 11-3/4" by 29".
The graphics show an Indian Chief, roses, the Rose Bowl stadium, and "Stanford".
No tears, holes, or water damage. The felt is not brittle. The graphics are strong and secure. No stains or spotting. Nice white graphics. With some light expected creases that will iron out. With two pin holes on the left white border and two pin holes at the right end edge tip that cut into the border. One inch of missing stitching at the bottom left and one half inch missing stitching at the top left of the white border.
This pennant has been kept well over the years and will display nicely.
