In no way am I claiming to be an expert in anything.  Please read the description provided and the images to confirm what you are certain of.  I do appreciate added information related to items I have listed.
Please excuse any glare in the photos.  All pieces in this auction come from the same owner.  This auction is for the following:
Teddy Ruxpin Doll:  Measures approximately 19.00" from the tip of one ear to the bottom of the foot.  Tag on the rust-colored covering reads, "Teddy Ruxpin Copyright 1984, 1985 Alchemy II, Inc.  Mfg. for WOW Worlds of Wonder, Inc.  Fremont, California 94538 Made in China Reg. No. PA-1743  Do not immerse in water.  Clean with damp cloth."  There is no obvious corrosion in the battery compartment (takes four C batteries.  When the batteries are in, the cover fits quite snuggly.  The tape deck is clean and cassettes work.  The eyes and mouth worked throughout the entire story of, "The Missing Princess".  The sound was clear.  Teddy's fur is free from staining and there are no tears.  His condition is rather remarkable when you consider the age and it not being in the box.  The plastic cassette deck has one break in the lower bottom left.  This can be seen by looking at picture 5 magnified.  Batteries are not included.
Grubby:  Measures approximately 19.00" from the tip of his nose to his backside.  Tag located near the battery compartment reads the same as Teddy's with the exception of the word "Grubby".  Grubby looks amazing.  There are no stains, tears, or obvious issues with the soft polyester covering.  This doll also takes four C batteries (not included) and the battery compartment is free from corrosion.  Batteries were placed in Grubby but I could not get him to work.  His mouth opens and closes when you manually move them.  The eyes move up and down however I did not force movement once there was resistance.  When you move Grubby around you can hear something moving around in his chest.  I can't confirm what this is, if anything.  There is no cord.
Books & Cassettes:  "All About Bears" and "The Missing Princess" are a set (books and cassette tape).  Both tapes were played in the Teddy Ruxpin; "The Missing Princess" in its entirety.  "The Missing Princess" has a cluster of pin holes at the lower left of the front cover and on the reverse side (lower left back cover).  The spine of Princess has also experienced damage along the lower two inches.  It looks to me like a small animal may have chewed it.  The inside covers are not damaged, nor are the pages.  The pages are crisp without tears, folding, or fading. "All About Bears" in in great condition.  The only issue would be light wear to the edges and corners of the cover.  Pages are crisp, complete, unmarked, and unfaded.  "The Airship" is only the book no cassette.  Book is in great condition with virtually no wear to the edges or corners of the cover.  Pages are crisp, complete, unmarked, and unfaded.
Clothing:  The orange corduroy jacket has soft red trim and matching red tie.  There is a Teddy Ruxpin patch on the left side of the chest.  The tag inside reads, "Teddy Ruxpin Copyright 1984, 1985 Alchemy II, Inc. All rights reserved. Mfg. for WOW Worlds of Wonder, Inc. Fremont, California 94538  Made in China  Reg. No. PA-1743 All new materials. Hand wash only."  This jacket is in great condition without staining, tears, or fading.  The polka dot footed pjs were found after the intial group picture.  This is in great condtion without stains, rips, or tears.  The color is vibrant and the velcro works great.  The Grubby Hiking Outfit has not been removed from the packaging.  The packaging itself is in good condtion with storage wear.  The bottom right corner of the plastic covering is dented and the top right corner has a split in it.
Paperwork & Opened Box:  The opened box was purchased from Toys 'R' Us and reads, "Teddy Ruxpin Adventure Series".  The box is in poor condition.  The World of Teddy Ruxpin warranty card has a curved bend in it at the center.  The World's First Animated Talking Toy booklet features an introduction to Teddy's abilities, craftsmanship, and friends.  It also contains pictures and blurbs about the Adventure Outfits available, Grubby, and Fob hand puppets.  The entire booklet is in color, unfolded, uncreased, and unmarked.  Teddy Ruxpin Care and Instructions folding booklet is without tears or notable issues.  All three pieces of paperwork (warranty card, color-printed booklet, and care/instructions pamphlet) have a slight curve at the center.
Interested buyers are encouraged to carefully review the photographs.  The photographs are provided as a part of the description.  A large box is being used to accommodate everything (20"x14"x14").  The packaged weight is around 11 pounds 8 ounces.  Depending on your proximity to California a different carrier may be more economical.  If you would like an exact shipping quote, shoot me a message with your zip code.  Please allow for more than one day of the auction's close though.
A note about 'vintage' or 'antique' pieces: they are to be considered preowned.  Evidence of some use and/or age should be expected, but damage WILL BE described and photographed.
